The Symposium is organised by the PROTON’s partners Brå (Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention) on behalf of the Swedish government. During its thirteen year long existence the Symposium has become a true meeting point for resarchers, policy-makers and practitioners who want to learn from the latest research findings of importance for crime policy.

On June 11, Ruth Dreifuss (Switzerland) and Peter Reuter (USA) will be awarded the 2019 Stockholm Prize in Criminology for their research on evidence and policy development on drug abuse. The ceremony will be held at the Stockholm City Hall.
